Returns and Refund Policies

At Iron Ethos, we stand behind the quality and performance of our knives. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.

Return Eligibility

You may request a return or exchange within 30 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Item must be unused, unsharpened, and in original condition
  • Must include original packaging, box, and accessories
  • No visible wear, damage, or modification

*Due to the nature of EDC knives, used or carried knives cannot be returned.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Used, sharpened, or modified knives
  • Custom or limited-edition items
  • Final sale / clearance items
  • Items damaged due to misuse (e.g., prying, throwing, improper use)

Defective or Damaged Items

If your item arrives:

  • Damaged
  • Defective
  • Incorrect

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:

  • Order number
  • Photos or video of the issue

We will offer:

  • Replacement (preferred)
  • Or full refund

Return Process

To initiate a return:

Provide:

  • Order number
  • Reason for return
  • Product photos

Return Shipping

United States Orders

Customer is responsible for return shipping unless:

  • Item is defective
  • Wrong item was shipped

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Refund will be issued to original payment method
  • Processing time: 10–15 business days

Notes:

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable
  • Refund may be delayed depending on bank/card provider

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are:

  • Defective
  • Damaged

If you need a replacement:

  • Contact support first
  • We will ship a replacement once approved

Restocking Fee

No restocking fee for standard returns

However, we reserve the right to apply a fee if:
Item is returned in non-resellable condition

Order Cancellation

Since all products are currently sold on a pre-order basis, you may cancel your order at any time before it has shipped for a full refund. Once your order has been dispatched and a tracking number has been issued, cancellation is no longer possible — please refer to our Returns process instead.

To request a cancellation, contact us at info@iron-ethos.com with your order number.

Warranty

Iron Ethos knives are covered by a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.

Warranty does NOT cover:

  • Misuse or abuse
  • Blade damage from improper use
  • Rust due to lack of maintenance
  • Disassembly or modification

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund:

  • Check your bank account
  • Contact your credit card company
  • Contact your bank
